Labor Day Weekend

Labor day weekend Chris and I didn't have anything planned, my mom said that the whole family, including Janelle were going to Eastern Oregon to go camping. I thought that sounded so fun, but I knew there was no way we could go. I talked to Chris about it and he asked some of the guys at work if they could cover his shift. After work we talked about it again and decided that we should just do it! You're only young once, right? So we left that night for the 12 hr drive to Oregon to see my Family! They were all so surprised to see us when we got there! We had such a good time, we went hiking, fishing, talked around the campfire. All in all it was good to just hangout together without the interruptions of TV, Internet, and cell phones.

On our way there....

Eva and I did a lot of sleeping.... thanks Chris for driving the whole time! Love you!

It was a long drive...you can see how packed down we were behind me.

Sisters

Setting up the lamps and getting ready for dinner.

Shalie Falls.

The whole gang in front of Shalie Falls

Shalie Falls was so beautiful! You can hike behind it, but Chris and I had to get on the road and didn't have time.

On our 7 mile hike...all the dogs loved it!

Hiking...

Chris and I in front of Clear Lake

Half-way there at Clear Lake, getting ready to eat lunch

This is Clear Lake, Its so beautiful and blue! The water is freezing, but Janelle, Spencer, Nicole and my Dad all jumped in! Crazies!

I really wanted a picture on this tree, but it was a little scary climbing up to it! You can't see how high up it is from this pic though.

Peek-a-boo

The views were so breath taking! It was awesome, I love Oregon and how green it is.

We all had a great time hiking together.

We let Eva drive home, so we made good time on the way back :)

Thanks Mom and Dad for the great camping trip, I'm glad Chris and I decided to come up!

I thought I'd catch up a little bit more too....
We went to the Cache Valley Rodeo this summer and had a lot of fun.

Chris even won me a prize!

Watching the cowboys ride the bulls is my favorite part!

These buffalo climbed on top of this trailer, it was so cool!

Dressing the part :)

Chris has started Fall semester at USU and also joined a flag football team! This is at his first game under the lights at Romney Stadium! He played great and his team won!

He's such a good football player, it's fun to watch him.

We've had a great summer and did lots of fun things. Now the weathers getting colder and I can tell Fall is about here! I love the Fall season, but I'm not looking forward to Winter, especially here in Logan!
